We have a Bible study in front of the market every Friday
afternoon. We normally have about 8 to 12 kids that come regularly. It is a
sweet group of kids that come every week, but we have wanted that Bible study
to grow. We had a Christmas party there a couple of weeks ago, and it was so
incredible. Adults even came!!! We had 35 people come for the whole time. 50 people
who heard the gospel message and 75 people come by in total. It was so great.
The regular kids acted out the nativity story with costumes. They did a
FANTASTIC job! Then we made nativity scenes using stickers to make them. Then
we ate Peruvian’s traditional Christmas cake, drank traditional hot chocolate
(even though it is the summer), and then gave out little gift bags that had
candies and cookies. It was a great time of fellowship and to celebrate the birth
of our Savior!
